We discourage modular exhibits in lieu of tabletop; however we will accommodate free-standing modular exhibits with or without an 8’ table at a cost of $500.00. Please indicate on the enclosed exhibit form as to whether you request one or two table-top 8’ tables. If you choose to bring a free-standing modular exhibit, please indicate that as well and whether or not you will still need an 8’ table.

Exhibitor location will be largely based on a company’s continuous longevity at the AUCSC Conference. There will be two rows of exhibit tables and modular exhibits encircling the running track.
Those vendors who are shipping their exhibits to Morgantown should contact Central Van and Storage at (304) 592-1760 in order to make arrangements for storage, drop-off and pick-up. Central Van and Storage will deliver all exhibits to the Shell Building on Monday, May 14th. If you are shipping your exhibit, please make sure that your shipment arrives on the week before the conference. AUCSC will provide a student or guard to check exhibits in and out of the Shell Building. The AUCSC Exhibits Committee will not be liable for lost shipments.
Exhibitors may set-up the night of Monday, May 14th. Exhibitors may also set-up Tuesday morning, May 15th , 7:30 A.M. until 10:00 A.M. Teardown will occur after 6:30 P.M. on Wednesday, May 16th. We strongly suggest that there be no exhibitor teardown prior to 6:30 P.M. There will be a penalty of $200.00 for anyone tearing down early unless prior permission is granted for good reason.
Free food and beverage will be supplied for Tuesday’s lunch and during the two evening sessions for all attendees. Wednesday’s lunch will remain on a cash basis. Mr. Robert Scullion will provide DJ background music during the lunch hours and at the Tuesday and Wednesday evening sessions. We will again make every effort to keep the music turned down a bit during exhibit hours. Because of the poor acoustics in the Shell Building, it is sometimes challenging to control the volume to everyone’s satisfaction. Please let us know if the music gets too loud and we will make adjustments.
To ensure good attendance, we will have raffles. On Tuesday night, we will raffle off two $500 cash prizes throughout the night. On Wednesday night, we will raffle off five $300.00 cash prizes at 5:30 P.M. (1), 6:00 P.M.(2) and 6:30 P.M (2). The attendee must be present in the exhibit area in order to win. Exhibitors and WVU helpers and students are also eligible to win.
Again this year at AUCSC, we will provide all students with a small handbook containing vendor information. The reference book will provide information describing exhibitor’s company information, products and/or services. Students and corrosion technicians can use this as a quick reference guide for vendor information throughout the year.
To qualify for inclusion into the booklet, your company must be a paid exhibitor at the 2012 AUCSC Corrosion Short-Course. The procedure of getting your company information included into the booklet is outlined on the www.aucsc.com website once updated.
If you click onto the www.aucsc website and go to “Pocket Directory” at the top of the page. On the left side, you will have an option of inclusion into the 2012 pocket directory once updated. There is no additional cost. Follow the instructions. The description must be kept brief. In order to get placed in this year’s booklet, the final deadline for us to receive your information will be April 25th, 2012. So as not to be excluded, please act on this request as soon as possible. Those exhibitors that sent us their information last year may keep the same information for this current year. There is a spot to allow for that provision.
NOTE - Deadline is April 25th, 2012
